As a Sales and Service Associate, you will be responsible for thoroughly assessing and categorizing donated items for sale in Goodwill of North Georgia retail locations.

Your role will involve processing goods efficiently to meet production targets in a dynamic environment while adhering to established operating procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere by greeting every guest and delivering exceptional service
- Maintain a professional, patient, and customer-focused demeanor
- Efficiently transition products to the retail sales floor with attention to detail and urgency
- Implement and uphold visual merchandising strategies
- Effectively recommend and upsell merchandise during transactions
- Accurately manage point-of-sale transactions
- Identify and resolve issues promptly or seek management assistance
- Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and guests
- Promote teamwork and cooperation among peers
- Consistently perform tasks according to training materials and work instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and retail sales floor
- Adhere to safety and security protocols, including reporting hazards
- Attend and complete all required training sessions and meetings
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements and Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to foster a positive team culture focused on exceptional guest experiences
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong organizational skills and sound judgment
- Must be 18 years or older to operate certain equipment


Working Environment Conditions:

- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to work in various conditions, including heat, cold, and dust
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 30 lbs
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
