Security Clearance: Active (NSA) Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph Required

Compensation: Salary Range: Up to $220K (salary is commensurate with education and experience)

Position Summary

The Senior IT Consultant plays a pivotal role in delivering expert guidance in advanced information technologies and methodologies. This position involves providing specialized support for intricate automated solutions to challenging information processing issues. The consultant will conduct in-depth analyses and prepare comprehensive reports, along with delivering presentations. This role includes managing project work as specified by the government and leading medium to large-scale projects, as well as significant phases of extensive projects. The consultant will offer expert technical advice and solutions to complex IT challenges.

Important Note: This position mandates an existing NSA Top Secret Clearance and Polygraph.

Technical Expertise Required:

Network Engineering - Support customer networks that involve cross-domain solutions, including VPNs and one-way data transfers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC)
• Oversee Cisco switches and firewalls
• Handle ASR routers, including HSRP, OSPF, BGP, and route-maps
• Administer ASA firewalls
• Utilize Linux network troubleshooting tools to resolve complex network issues (tcpdump, ssldump, curl, wget, mtr, tcp traceroute, nmap, openssl, tshark)

Qualifications:

• Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
• Existing Clearance: Active Top-Secret SCI with Polygraph
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in storage solutions.
• Education and experience requirements: High School/GED with twenty (20) years of relevant experience; Associate's degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
• Manage project work as outlined by the government.
• Lead medium to large complex projects and significant phases of extensive projects.
• Provide specialized technical guidance and solutions to intricate IT challenges.
