Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated SOLO Class B CDL Truck Operator to join our team at Ryder. This position is based in Spartanburg, SC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods within South Carolina on a local route, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Operate a 26' Straight Truck equipped with an Electric Pallet Jack and Lift Gate.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding transportation.
  • Perform loading and unloading of freight as necessary.
  • Keep accurate records and logs of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Weekly pay with an hourly rate of $20.05.
  • Paid training and support to ensure your success.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, with no weekend work required.
  • Paid Time Off begins on your first day, accumulating 80 hours in the first year.
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits available after 30 days.
  • 401k plan with company match after one year of service.
  • Uniforms, cell phone, and boot allowance provided.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
