About the Role

Mortenson Family Dental is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health through preventive and therapeutic treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough dental hygiene assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide routine cleanings, scaling, and polishing to remove plaque and tartar from teeth.
  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed to ensure patient comfort.
  • Collaborate with dentists to diagnose and treat dental conditions, including periodontal disease.
  • Document patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date charts.
Requirements
  • Dental Hygiene Certificate or Degree from an accredited program.
  • Active dental hygiene license issued by the state board.
  • Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification.
  • General Supervision Privileges.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Hepatitis B Vaccination.
