About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Merchandise Expert to join our team at Target. As a General Merchandise Expert, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for our guests, ensuring the sales floor is zoned, in stock, and accurately signed, and executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure the sales floor is visually appealing, with merchandise properly displayed and priced
  • Execute daily/weekly workload, including receiving and processing merchandise, maintaining inventory accuracy, and completing backroom audits
  • Collaborate with the General Merchandise and Food Sales team to lead inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes
  • Support guest services, including back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive up, while maintaining a compliance culture
Requirements

  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
