We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Endoscopy RN at HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.
Job SummaryThis role involves working on the Endoscopy Unit, where you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients admitted for procedures. You will apply critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care to patients. Your collaboration with the patient care team is crucial in achieving quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Auditing, planning, executing, and evaluating care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
- Implementing evidence-based practice and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient information and treatment plans.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and effective patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Registered Nurse License in Texas or a Compact State License.
- 1 year of experience in Endoscopy.
- BSN preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- PALS certification is a plus.
