Lead Engineering Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Lead Engineering Specialist to join our team at Komatsu. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading engineering projects and teams to deliver high-quality products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering leadership, with experience managing complex projects and teams. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining engineering processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with global standards and engineering best practices.
Your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as Inventor and AutoCAD will be essential in this role. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in implementing Lean Engineering principles and contribute to effective Change Management implementation.
Key Job Responsibilities1. Lead engineering projects and teams to deliver high-quality products. 2. Develop and maintain engineering processes. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product delivery. 4. Conduct engineering evaluations, including investigations and basic calculations. 5. Participate in provided Learning and Development opportunities to benefit yourself and the organization.
Qualifications/Requirements1 Certification in Technology or equivalent relevant discipline, required. 2 At least 5 years' experience in machine design, machine application, mining industry, desired. 3 Proficient in the use of CAD Inventor and AutoCAD tools, desired. 4 Participation in implementing Lean Engineering principles, desired. 5 Subscription to CAD related technical publications, beneficial.
