Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process, assessing, collecting and documenting data to identify nursing diagnoses. This role requires providing responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by the American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient care using the nursing process
  • Assess, collect and document patient data to identify nursing diagnoses
  • Establish, plan, implement and evaluate individual patient care plans
Requirements
  1. No license is required upon initial hire but an RN license in the State of Florida must be obtained within 90 days of hire
  2. Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  3. Certifications as required by individual unit/area
  4. Professionalism in interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians and ancillary department personnel
  5. Personal professional development, accountability, organization and leadership in the performance of professional nursing practice
  6. Must be customer-service oriented and able to effectively communicate and build relationships with co-workers and key stakeholders at all levels in the organization
