Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with a 9-hour shift scheduled between 6:30 AM and 5:30 PM, including a one-hour lunch break. No weekends or holidays required.
Key Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Coordinating patient care in collaboration with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
- Ensuring adherence to established standards of care and practices in line with organizational policies and guidelines.
- Conducting physical examinations and gathering health histories.
- Providing health education, counseling, and promotion.
- Administering medications, performing wound care, and implementing personalized interventions.
- Supervising care provided by other healthcare staff.
- Making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and competencies of assigned personnel.
- Recognizing adverse signs and symptoms and responding promptly in emergency situations.
- Communicating effectively with a diverse group to inform the healthcare team and educate patients and families.
- Arranging referral appointments and coordinating specialty care as necessary.
- Performing nursing services as outlined in the task order.
- Engaging in research to support improved practices and patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Experience: At least one year of relevant nursing experience.
- Licensure: Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license from any state.
- Life Support Certification: Current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required.
- Security Clearance: Ability to pass a government background check is essential.
