About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Film Granulation and Washing Operator to work on our extrusion line. This role will involve setting up, calibrating, and operating complex equipment while ensuring efficiency and safety standards.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with extrusion operations and possess excellent time management and problem-solving skills. As a critical member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality products and adhering to customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain film granulating and washing equipment to meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure product meets specifications and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address any issues that may arise during production.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data and perform analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in extrusion operation or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with HMI systems and ability to learn new software quickly.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequent bending, stooping, and climbing stairs. You will also be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including steel-toed shoes, hard hat, and hearing protection.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum based on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. The estimated salary for this position is around $52,500 per annum.
