Job Title: Shop Laborer

Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. is seeking a skilled Shop Laborer to join our team in the Beaumont/Port Arthur, TX area. As a Shop Laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanic shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of tasks, including handling power and manual tools, sawing and nailing, and operating motorized equipment.
  • Assist in the installation and removal of construction materials at heights above the ground, while adhering to safety procedures.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring physical strength, good balance, and alertness.
Requirements:
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds of material.
  • Walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb on a frequent basis.
  • Use hand tools, such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts, on a frequent basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 6 months of construction labor work experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
