- Point-of-Sale Operations: Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions, handle cash, and maintain proper inventory records.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain an organized and clean retail space, ensuring that products are properly displayed and stocked.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding the sale, distribution, and possession of cannabis products. Verify customer identification and age to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer service.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and changes in regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge and/or willingness to learn cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods. Familiarity with state and local cannabis regulations and compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and move up to 20 pounds.
