Inventory Control Coordinator Job Description

At Harvard Resource Solutions LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team. As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of our inventory, from monitoring levels to investigating discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and perform quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying and addressing root causes.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Assist in preparing inventory reports and other required documentation.
  • Warehouse Optimization: Recommend improvements for warehouse space utilization, including pallet consolidation and racking optimization.
  • System Support: Support company growth by participating in new system deployments and implementations.
  • Inventory Control: Manage overstocks and obsolete materials to optimize product flow.
  • Data Entry: Enter data for new products and adjust prices as needed.
  • Inventory Processing: Ensure incoming products are received and processed according to company procedures.
  • Procedure Maintenance: Maintain precise procedures for all inventory-related tasks.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or Associate Degree.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in inventory control.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of inventory management methods and systems, proficiency with ERP systems, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
