Job Summary

LeaderStat is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a Critical Care Unit. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize respiratory care practices.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience working as a full-time Respiratory Therapist.
  • Clinical experience within the last 2 years.
  • Current State Licensure.
  • Current Relevant Certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc).
