Job Summary

Texas Muslim Women's Foundation is seeking a Shelter Advocate - Crisis Response to join our team. This role involves providing direct support to shelter residents, including crisis intervention, case management, and daily living skills training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage 24-hour crisis hotline, including answering calls and maintaining detailed logs
  • Coordinate with Social Services Program Manager and Case Managers to ensure comprehensive client care
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months experience in human services, preferably working with homeless populations or victims
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proof of auto liability insurance
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Compensation:
