About the Role

The Senior Architect will be responsible for leading the design of mission-critical data center projects from conceptual phase to design completion. This will involve developing and modifying production drawings, participating in project schedule and scope development, and ensuring effective management of change orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead architectural design of projects from conceptual phase to design completion
  • Develop and modify production drawings for data center facilities
  • Participate in project schedule and scope development
  • Manage change orders and ensure effective project execution
  • Apply expert knowledge of architectural concepts, practices, and codes
  • Compile studies and reports, and write specifications
  • Lead quality reviews of production drawings and specifications
  • Collaborate with field personnel to resolve design-related installation issues
  • Prepare and present technical reports to clients and industry publications
  • Build relationships with clients, customers, and contractors
  • Participate in sales and marketing efforts
  • Develop and manage project budgets and cost estimates
  • Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced engineers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
  • 8 years of architectural experience, consulting preferred
  • Expert knowledge of standard architectural techniques and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expert computer skills, including BIM (Revit), Adobe Suites, and 3D rendering programs
  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment
  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
