Job Summary

The Field Club of Greenwich seeks a highly skilled and experienced Pool Director to oversee the safety and cleanliness of our swimming pool and facilities. This is a key leadership role that requires strong management and communication skills, as well as a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, and supervise lifeguards and other pool staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for members and guests.
  • Develop and implement pool safety programs and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage pool operations, including chemical balancing, maintenance, and repairs, to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
  • Oversee the front desk staff's responsibilities, including membership registration, guest charges, and lesson bookings.
  • Plan and direct special events, such as swim meets and holiday activities, to enhance the member experience.
  • Represent the Club in swim meets and other events as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of pool attendance, chemical usage, and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • Current certification in Pool Operators course.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
