Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Geriatric Nursing Program Manager to join our team at Touchmark. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for designing and implementing care plans for our residents, working closely with a team of nurses to ensure the highest level of care and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement resident care programs in a geriatric nursing environment
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to design and implement care plans for each resident
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make adjustments as needed
  • Supervise, educate, and counsel resident care team members
  • Maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of Washington
  • Completion of a Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • Geriatric nursing experience desirable
  • Ability to read and write English in order to follow and give oral and written instructions
  • Ability to observe resident's behavior and communicate observations in a professional and intelligent manner
