The Position:

We are seeking a people-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team at Affinity at Bellingham, a 55 and older, active adult community. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with prospective and current residents, ensuring the highest level of occupancy in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Practice professional and relational leasing techniques to connect with prospective residents through various channels.
• Listen actively to gather information from prospective residents to design personalized tour experiences.
• Provide meaningful follow-ups to potential residents and maintain a community culture focused on enhancing residents' lives.
• Support community events and activities, and keep accurate records of resident and property activities.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to understand current programs and stay informed about local market conditions.
• Report any maintenance needs or irregularities to the Community Director.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as Fair Housing laws.

Requirements:

• Must be a team player with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred experience in residential property management, retail, sales, or customer service.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Google-Suite, property management software, and CRM solutions.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
• High School diploma or equivalency certificate, and a valid driver's license with insured, operable vehicle.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive pay, $21 to $23 per hour (based on experience).

Environmental and Safety Factors:

• Weather: work is primarily indoors in a temperature-controlled office environment with occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Noise: frequent exposure to typical office environment noise levels.
• Pace of Work: great, multi-tasking/pressure paced environment.
• Driving: exposure to environmental and safety conditions related to operating a motor vehicle.
