As a Senior Tractor Technician at J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex maintenance, service, and repair of J.B. Hunt tractors and other equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve maintenance processes and reduce downtime.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Tractor Technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Participate in Original Equipment Manufacturing training for OE repairs and stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques.
- Maintain accurate records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Semi-Tractor maintenance and repair, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A/C Certification, DOT-certified in FHWA Inspections and Air Brakes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift/move appliances up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive hourly rate: $25.61-$38.42 per hour.
