Recycling Materials Inspector

We are seeking a skilled Recycling Materials Inspector to join our team at Republic Services. As a key member of our operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of inbound loads for recycling.

• Inspect and Assess Inbound Loads: Conduct thorough visual and physical audits of recycling materials to determine their composition and ensure they meet required guidelines.
• Communicate with Stakeholders: Document and report observations to Operations, Accounting, and Sales Teams, and communicate with customers regarding non-compliant loads.
• Update Records: Maintain accurate records of inspections, notifications, and customer interactions.

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a safety-sensitive environment, such as manufacturing, transportation, or logistics.
• Skills and Qualifications: Strong observational skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a safe driving record (in certain locations).

• Competitive Salary: $16.07 - $25.25 per hour.
