Key Responsibilities of the Machinery Mechanic III:

  • Monitor the operation of manufacturing machinery to detect problems and suggest corrective measures.
  • Diagnose machine issues and execute necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on diverse equipment.
  • Oversee equipment inventory and place orders for necessary parts.
  • Assist in the installation and repair of electrical wiring and fixtures.
  • Assess machine performance and propose enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment as required.
  • Provide training to staff on proper operational procedures.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Preferred associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or mechanical roles.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Familiarity with plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Strong command of the English language.

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful completion of criminal, drug, and driving background checks.
  • Ability to adapt to various working conditions and schedules.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain necessary clearances.
