Join Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation as a Master Aircraft Technician A&P in our Van Nuys Service Center. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on Gulfstream mid/large size aircraft and contribute to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft mechanical systems, ensuring high standards of quality and timeliness.
- Provide work direction and guidance to assigned technicians, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Assume leadership roles and responsibilities, including leading team meetings and coordinating with inspection teams to ensure compliance with internal and FAA regulations.
- Coordinate the movement of aircraft and ensure the proper storage and handling of customer property and equipment.
- Act as a mentor and trainer for new employees, providing guidance on CMPs, maintenance manuals, and other relevant procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 8 years of Aviation Maintenance experience, including 4 years of experience working on Gulfstream mid/large size aircraft.
- Corporate aircraft experience preferred.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
