Provider Network Negotiator

As a Provider Network Negotiator at Health New England, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers. Your primary responsibility will be to negotiate and manage provider contracts, ensuring that we have access to high-quality healthcare services for our members.
Main Responsibilities:- Negotiate and maintain contracts with hospitals, physicians, physician groups, and PHOs.
- Lead day-to-day interactions with provider organizations, addressing inquiries and contract changes as needed.
- Work closely with Contracting Director and Manager to develop strategic plans, including financial models and value-based contracting.
- Negotiate and maintain contracts with ancillary providers, non-acute facilities, and individual/small group providers.
- Monitor and evaluate provider network adequacy, accessibility, and payment rate parity.
- Make recommendations for network additions/consolidations/terminations or changes in payment arrangements.
- Oversight of provider-related vendor contracts and relationships to resolve payment and service issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Allied Health, or related field, with 3+ years of experience in provider contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with multiple provider contracting models and arrangements.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with proficiency in Excel and presentation software.
$85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.
