Mortgage Loan Coordinator

The Mortgage Loan Processor is a vital role at American National Bank of Texas, responsible for coordinating the processing of mortgage loans from application to closing. This position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the processing of mortgage loans, ensuring all necessary documents are prepared and submitted in a timely manner.
• Review and verify all documentation, including income verification, employment verification, credit reports, appraisals, and title commitments.
• Communicate with borrowers and other stakeholders to collect necessary documentation and provide updates on the loan processing status.
• Act as a liaison between origination staff, underwriters, escrow companies, title companies, and customers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
• Check loan files for accuracy and adherence to established underwriting criteria and regulations.
• Work with the processing team to ensure files are moving through the system efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
• 4-6 years of loan processing experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
Skills:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word.
• Basic keyboarding and calculator skills.
• Ability to perform simple math and carry out written instructions.
• Travel to various locations to perform work and/or attend meetings as required.
• Ability to work occasionally more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Must be able to travel regularly from location to location.
• Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30 lbs.
