Bengal Transportation Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled Rigger A to join our team. As a Rigger A, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment and materials.

• Inspect and Prepare Rigging: Inspect rigging to ensure safety and reliability before engaging in hoisting or lifting.
• Align and Anchor Equipment: Aligns, levels and anchors cranes and equipment to ensure stable and secure operation.
• Identify Lift Points: Identify lift points and attach rigging with basic knowledge of hitch configuration, capabilities & basic knots.
• Assemble and Install Supporting Structures: Assembles and installs supporting structures, rigging, hoist and pulling gear to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Control Heavy Equipment Movement: Controls movements of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces.
• Maintain and Store Equipment: Dismantles, maintains and stores rigging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Signal and Direct Workers: Signals or gives verbal directions to workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety or workers and materials.
• Mathematical Applications: Understanding of math applications; weights, balance & measurements to ensure accurate and safe operation.

• Nationally accredited, third-party certification (NCCER, NCCCO)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and safety protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
