The Design Engineer will assist higher-level engineers in design tasks, providing support in the development of heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform basic deliverables and products, including calculations, drawings, and specifications related to HVAC systems, under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Conduct basic calculations for projects, such as heating/cooling loads, equipment selection and sizing, friction loss calculations, etc.
- Assist in coordinating all aspects of project design with project management, architects, and other trades through the completion phase of a project.
- Perform and check CADD drafting work.
- Basic knowledge of applicable systems design, such as HVAC, plumbing, etc.
- Ability to read mechanical and plumbing plans.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in CADD and Microsoft Office products, such as Excel.
- Four-year experience in engineering or a related field.
- 1-2 years' experience.
- PE License preferred.
