Della Infotech is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Dispensing Nurse in our Chelsea, MA location. This role involves working in a treatment team setting, dispensing prescribed medications, and maintaining dispensing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medication to patients in accordance with program policy and medical protocols.
- Maintain and calibrate dispensing equipment.
- Produce and maintain records and reports as required by company protocol, federal and state regulations.
- Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances.
- Order, receive, and stock medication according to DEA and state regulations.
- Conduct daily patient assessments.
- Assist in orienting new nursing staff.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of medication administration experience.
- Opioid addiction center experience is highly preferred.
- BLS certification is required.
- Skills checklist is required.
- Two supervisory reference forms are required.
