Shredding Specialist

The Shredding Specialist is a key member of our operations team, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient destruction of sensitive documents. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Unload and segregate waste paper, media, and products from our trucks at the assigned branch nightly.
• Reload trucks with necessary equipment for the next day's assignment.
• Operate and maintain baling machinery at the branch.
• Ensure all paper bales are staged or loaded for shipment as required.
• Perform shredding operations in support of our off-site shredding program.
• Safeguard plant hardware and equipment by locking and activating security systems.
• Operate forklifts and perform preventative maintenance on forklifts as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area according to our standards.
• Ensure all truck compartments and cabs are cleaned nightly in accordance with company guidelines.
• Perform weekly, monthly, and yearly preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Maintain supplies for plant operations.
• Adhere to all security and safety protocols related to the operation of our facilities.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ Years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• 6+ Months experience as a certified forklift driver and basic maintenance is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required and a history of good driving records.
• Forklift Certification is preferred.
