Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Service Plumber to specialize in the installation, repair, and maintenance of pipes within residential drainage systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic assessments, troubleshooting issues, and performing thorough leak searches to ensure the optimal functioning of residential plumbing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct residential service calls with efficiency and expertise.
- Perform thorough diagnosis and execute repairs or replacements based on identified issues.
- Engage in effective communication and consultation with homeowners, presenting optimal repair or replacement options.
- Maintain open communication with team members for seamless collaboration.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the company truck, both internally and externally.
- Execute tasks professionally and within specified timeframes.
- Handle plumbing, drain cleaning, and related service calls with precision.
- Build customer rapport to recommend suitable products and services.
- Educate and guide customers in selecting the best finance options and maintenance plans.
- Adhere to service criteria, striving to surpass revenue goals consistently.
- Present a professional and knowledgeable demeanor to secure new referrals and repeat business.
- Collaborate with customer service and dispatch for overall business success.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices, ensuring accurate and prompt repairs and installations.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in handling invoices, timecards, curbside feedback, and option sheets.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Residential Service plumbing.
- Preferred, but not required: Journeyman License.
- Exceptional customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with local plumbing codes and the ability to apply them on the job.
- Maintains a clean and safe driving record.
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude towards work and life.
