Sales and Business Development for Vacuum Services

At Clean Harbors, a world-class environmental service organization, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales and Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our Vacuum Services line of business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute business development strategies to grow revenue in assigned territories.
  2. Become a subject matter expert for Vacuum Services, with a strong understanding of technical knowledge, market dynamics, and competitor capabilities.
  3. Leverage cold calling, networking, and internal/external leads to generate sales.
  4. Work closely with Sales leadership to formulate and implement market strategies and business goals.
  5. Ensure strong communication with Sales Representatives and Account Managers regarding technical expertise, value proposition, and competitor updates.
  6. Exploit cross-selling opportunities for other Company services.
  7. Maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer visits, and business opportunities in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of environmental industry and/or sales experience.
  • Experience with vacuum services or wastewater treatment highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of business development, revenue enhancement, and market penetration required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Customer Service oriented.
  • Subject matter expert for the product line (vacuum services).
  • Negotiating skills required.
  • Weekly territory travel required, with overnight travel as needed.
