Job Description

The Elementary Education Leader oversees the Lower and Upper Elementary programs, ensuring a high-quality educational experience for students. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading instructional coaching and guidance for guides/teachers, assistants, and other academic support staff.
  • Developing and implementing curriculum for grades 1-6, aligning with Montessori accreditation standards and OSSE regulations.
  • Collaborating with the Principal to achieve program cohesion and smooth transitions between grade levels.
  • Coordinating inventory reviews, assessments, and progress reporting.
  • Recruiting and supporting substitute teachers and maintaining substitute teacher files.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Master's degree in Education or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a school administrator, preferably in an independent, public, or public charter school setting.
  • Leadership skills, ability to guide, inspire, coach, and mentor teachers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a competitive salary position, commensurate with experience, offering a comprehensive benefits package, including employer-covered health insurance, dental and vision insurance, free life insurance, 401k retirement with employer match, and short-term disability insurance. The estimated annual salary range is $85,000 - $100,000, based on qualifications and location.
