Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain VMware infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and virtual machines.
  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of VMware solutions with other IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, training junior personnel, and performing Tier 2 technical support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest VMware technologies and best practices to ensure our infrastructure remains secure and efficient.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Security Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or related discipline
  • Typically requires 7+ years of related experience
  • VMware experience, including patching Microsoft servers and workstations, familiarity with VDI technologies and protocols, and experience with Windows Servers 2016/2019 and Active Directory
  • Windows desktop operating systems (WIN10 SHB)
  • Experience with Microsoft WSUS or SCCM Server
  • VCP or VCA certification
  • Linux+ or Microsoft certification preferred

  • Competitive hourly rate: $43/hr to $50/hr
