We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at Sunbelt Staffing. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students in the Crosby area.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments
Conduct thorough psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and needs, and develop strategies to support their academic and personal growth.
Provide Counseling and Intervention ServicesOffer individualized counseling and intervention services to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges, and promoting positive relationships with teachers, parents, and peers.
Collaborate with Educational TeamsWork closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring each student receives tailored support to meet their unique needs.
Attend IEP Meetings and Provide RecommendationsAttend IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations to support student success, advocating for the well-being and academic achievement of every student.
Requirements- Master's Degree in School Psychology or Related Field
A Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field is required for this position.
State Licensure or Certification in School PsychologyState licensure or certification in School Psychology is also required.
Previous Experience in Educational SettingsPrevious experience working in educational settings is preferred, but not required.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
