Job Summary

C0008 Franciscan Health Michigan City is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients correctly and safely to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  • Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images produced.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure optimal scanner performance and image quality.
Requirements
  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.
  • 2+ years of experience in CT imaging, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Occasional float requirements to nearby facilities.
  • Must have skills/experience in CT imaging.
  • Preferred skillset/experience in X-ray and CT imaging.
Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced hospital environment with frequent exposure to radiation. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team-oriented setting and provide compassionate care to patients.
