As a Mechanical Assembly Technician II, you will engage in a range of mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly tasks, testing, fabrication, and inspection of various products in both standard and specialized environments to ensure a seamless workflow.

Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determines assembly methods and sequences when complete information is not readily available, utilizing production operation sheets, wire lists, samples, blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions to execute a variety of assembly tasks.
  • Employs small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers effectively.
  • Identifies and selects components for integration into sub-assembly and assembly units.
  • Performs setups, alignments, and adjustments while maintaining tolerances according to provided instructions.
  • Disassembles, modifies, refurbishes, reassembles, and tests units as necessary.
  • May offer guidance to junior assemblers through task assignments and progress monitoring.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a high school diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is generally required.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.
