Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Tifton, Georgia. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on diesel trucks, including Volvo trucks and vehicles with MAC engines.

This is a contract-to-hire position with a duration of 6 months. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy-duty equipment.

Aerotek offers a competitive hourly rate of $24-$32, a clean and temperature-controlled work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel trucks, including Volvo trucks and vehicles with MAC engines
  • Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, and other heavy-duty equipment issues
  • Work with a team of experienced technicians to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Meet productivity and quality standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
