Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to join our team as a clinical lead for our mobile and static wellness centers in Albion, MI. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide care to patients while adhering to LTS policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Learn and perform diagnostic tests, including point-of-care testing.
  • Serve as a clinical lead and primary point of escalation for any clinical matters that arise during wellness center operations.
  • Perform vaccinations and adhere to ACIP guidelines.
  • Competent in infection control and infectious disease testing procedures.
  • Perform vital signs, basic wellness assessments, and finger-stick blood sugars.
  • Interpret abnormal vital signs and escalate as necessary.
  • Provide Basic Life Support for patients with adverse reactions.
  • Adhere to healthcare regulations and policies, including HIPAA guidelines.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and diagnostic procedures.
  • May assist with education by providing educational material and general health information to customers.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and protocols.
  • Oversee proper procedures for disposal of hazardous waste materials.
  • May be asked to conduct inventory of supplies.
  • Assist with site operations as needed.
  • Assist with setting up and tear down of mobile and static sites as needed.
Requirements
  • Licensed Registered Nurse with 3 years minimum experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Committed to observing patient conditions and ensuring patient safety.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Current Driver License and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass background check.
  • Willingness to learn and share subject matter expertise on systems supporting site operations.
Licensure, Certifications, Registrations
  • Must possess an RN license in active and good standing.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Must possess ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work inside and outside for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform job duties while sitting, standing, squatting, bending at the waist, kneeling, and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 15-20lbs, reach in all directions, and unassisted.
  • Ability to use lifting motion over and below waist from 15lbs-20lbs without assistance.
  • Ability to use vision or corrective vision to determine depth perception and to discriminate between color-coated objects.
  • Ability to perform gross motor functions, fine motor functions, and maintain olfactory sensory functions.
  • Ability to work in a latex-safe environment.
  • Ability to be qualified using medical evaluations and physicals for adequate passing for respirator use.
  • May be exposed to infectious diseases and occupational dangers such as needle pricks and outdoor inclement weather.
