This exciting position is part of Dataprise's Managed Security Service Program (MSSP), focusing on technical expertise as a Cybersecurity Engineer. The ideal candidate will provide critical support for the build and maintenance of Azure Sentinel environments.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, coordinating with network engineers.
  • Monitor and manage system resources, ensuring efficient operating conditions.
  • Perform systems security administration functions, creating user profiles and accounts, setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing software, and allocating mass storage space.
  • Make recommendations for hardware and software purchases, coordinate installation, and provide backup recovery.
  • Develop and monitor policies and standards for computing resource allocation.
  • May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in SIEM, cybersecurity, and engineering, with a strong focus on Azure Sentinel SIEM.
  • Demonstrated understanding of core cybersecurity technologies and emerging capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience in Protect, Detect, Respond, and Sustain within a Computer Incident Response organization.
  • Understanding of cyber threat life cycles, attacks, vectors, and exploitation methods, along with intrusion set tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • CND experience within a Computer Incident Response organization.
  • Experience working in a 24x7 environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and communication with upper management.
  • Self-discipline to adhere to playbooks and time requirements.
  • Prioritization of staying current with evolving threats, tools, and techniques.
  • Willingness to learn new security technologies, products, incident analysis, and response approaches.

Salary & Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $75,000-$100,000, based on national averages. However, local market adjustments may apply. This position offers a comprehensive compensation package, including competitive pay, top-quality benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
