Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering and coordinating quality patient care in compliance with physician orders. This includes continuously observing and assessing patient condition and care needs, documenting all activities and assessments, and participating in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders
  • Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs
  • Document all activities and assessments
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies
  • Maintain knowledge of competencies related to the nursing profession
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
  • Must be able to travel
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance
