Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest level of patient safety and quality care through effective management of patient medications and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Pharmacy Operations and Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including inventory management, financial profitability, and loss prevention.
  • Customer Service and Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service and engage with patients to promote healthy outcomes and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of pharmacy technicians and support staff to achieve business objectives and improve performance.
  • Business Development and Innovation: Identify opportunities for business growth and develop innovative solutions to drive revenue and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree, and active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
  • Immunization Certification: Immunization certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA).
  • Background Check: Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
