Job Title:

Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Job Summary:

MUSC Health & Medical University of SC is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cardiology to provide services including open heart surgery, aortic and mitral valve replacement, and minimally invasive heart surgeries.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiothoracic surgeries, including open heart surgery and minimally invasive procedures
  • Collaborate with cardiology team to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Participate in tumor boards and other multidisciplinary meetings
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • MD or MD equivalent
  • Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery
  • Experience in cardiothoracic surgery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
