Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in driving productivity, quality, and employee safety through the application of Manufacturing Engineering methods. This position will be responsible for identifying and leading projects to improve manufacturing processes, optimize safety and efficiency, and enhance employee capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain standards for documenting machine settings and parameters to ensure successful process execution.
  • Develop and enhance processes to optimize safety and efficiency, including creating work instructions and training programs.
  • Optimize department layouts and maintain electronic versions of layouts.
  • Identify and eliminate wastes in assigned processes, lead process improvement projects, and receive and analyze feedback.
  • Attend tooling and fixture review meetings, provide feedback, and establish rules for tooling design.
  • Participate in APQP and CFT meetings, complete assigned duties, and perform feasibilities when requested.
  • Perform regular manufacturing process audits, evaluate current equipment and new technologies, and run projects through a controlled system.
  • Collaborate with other Manufacturing Engineers, Production Department personnel, and management to ensure a well-integrated manufacturing operation.
Requirements

This position requires a strong understanding of Manufacturing Engineering methods, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering, quality control, or a related field.
