Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the upfront electrical system planning, design, layout, and subsequent support of the installation and integration in a wide range of custom mobile solutions, including trailers, truck bodies, and shelters/containers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain continuous communication with engineering to ensure alignment of goals and objectives, and project issues.
  • Maintain continuous communication and provide technical direction with the shop floor to maintain constant alignment with manufacturing.
  • Develop electrical load calculations and power distribution documentation.
  • Create block diagrams and schematics based on input requirements.
  • Support customer meetings, conference calls, and site visits as required.
  • Work effectively in a project team environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 4 years AC and DC system and component design experience.
  • 4 years shop manufacturing/construction experience.
Preferred Skills
  • 2 years custom truck, 5th wheel, and/or drawbar, or RV design experience.
Physical Skills
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Required to stand, walk, and use hands.
  • Must be able to position self to move, bend, and lift up to 75-lbs.
  • Ascend/descend on ladders and move around/within custom mobile solutions.
  • Required use of fingers and hands to operate a computer.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
