This position involves coordinating spiritual programs and services for a faith-based community in Schofield Barracks, HI. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Coordinate CCD and RE Programs for North & South Catholic Community Groups, including planning, execution, and evaluation of these programs.
- Develop and implement educational materials and resources for religious education programs.
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers to assist with program coordination and implementation.
- Collaborate with chapel staff and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Christian Religious Education or a related field, or equivalent experience in a military chapel environment.
- Catholic-specific training/certification provided by the Archdiocese for the Military Services, and a minimum of two years teaching experience in a military setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create, maintain, and send reports using computer software.
