Travel Nurse Oncology Position

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Oncology to join our team in New York, New York.
Job Description:As a Travel Nurse RN Oncology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your expertise will be essential in delivering chemotherapy, therapeutic treatments, and blood transfusions, as well as performing phlebotomy procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer medications, including oral, IM, IV, SQ, and inhaled medications.
- Perform treatments such as chemotherapy administration, conscious sedation, and other procedures specific to specialty practices.
- Access and maintain central lines/ports for blood drawing and medication administration.
- Provide and initiate respiratory interventions according to standards.
- Coordinate and delegate patient care activities.
- Initiate CPR and coordinate in-patient admissions and ER referrals.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current NY State Registered Nurse License.
- Minimum 2 years Medical Oncology Nursing Experience Required.
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Active Chemotherapy- Biotherapy Provider Card required.
- Certification in area of specialty is highly recommended, BCLS, ACLS required.
