The Travel Nurse RN role at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital involves working within a dynamic Resource Pool. This position is designed for experienced nurses who are adaptable and ready to support various departments as needed.
Certification Requirements- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
- State License Verification
- NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- Resource Pool RN position
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Shift options: 3x12 hour nights (7P-7A) or 4x12 hour blocks (Fri-Mon or Sat-Tue)
- Flexibility to work across all PCU and MS units is essential
- Resource Pool nurses may be reassigned to different units based on hospital needs every 4 hours
- BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
- Patient-to-nurse ratios: PCU 5:1, MS 6/7:1
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shifts available: 3x12 hours or 4x12 hours
- Night shifts from 7P-7A
- Unit: Resource Pool
- Willingness to work across all PCU and MS units is required
- All requests for time off must be submitted upfront with application
- I-9 or attestation documentation is required
- Travelers must provide a professional photo for identification badge
- Completion of pre-start educational modules is necessary
