About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Respiratory Practitioner to join our team at Saint Alphonsus Health System. This part-time position requires a rotating shift schedule and offers an estimated salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage critically ill patients requiring respiratory therapy
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Education and Experience
- Licence to practice respiratory care in Idaho or Oregon
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network
Additionally, you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in critical care respiratory therapy and a strong understanding of respiratory physiology and pathophysiology.
