The Burn Services Registered Nurse is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Burn Unit. As a skilled and compassionate nurse, you will utilize your expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with burn injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
- Implement evidence-based practices to promote wound healing, manage pain, and prevent complications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care transitions and address concerns.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.
- Current licensure in Nevada as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated experience in Burn Services/Care, with a strong understanding of critical care principles and practices.
- ACLS, BCLS, and ABLS certifications, with the ability to interpret ECG rhythms and respond to critical situations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
