Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated and experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee various stages of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Superintendent, your duties will include:

1. Managing all facets of construction project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
2. Ensuring that all construction activities comply with project plans and specifications.
3. Upholding high standards of workmanship that align with original designs and specifications.
4. Conducting regular quality control assessments to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
5. Supervising on-site construction personnel, ensuring efficient and safe task performance.
6. Coordinating and overseeing subcontractor activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
7. Performing site management tasks, including maintaining cleanliness, enforcing safety protocols, and coordinating inspections.
8. Preparing and submitting project reports, communicating updates or changes to relevant stakeholders.
9. Effectively resolving on-site issues or disputes in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

1. A minimum of five years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent or in a comparable role within the construction sector.
2. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
3. Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
4. Strong understanding of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety regulations.
5. Excellent project management capabilities, including budgeting and scheduling experience.
6. Proven ability to manage subcontractors and on-site teams effectively.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to make prompt decisions.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective liaison with various stakeholders.
9. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
10. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various construction sites as needed.
